Paulo Cruz is an accomplished EMEA real estate executive with, among others MRICS qualifications, currently serving as CEO at AREA and as the SVP International at DAMAC Properties since 2022, leading masterplan developments across the EMEA, whilst also delivering iconic properties, data centers, hospitality, luxury brands, and logistics/industrial assets.

 
Previously, Paulo held the position of Chief Executive Officer at EuroActiv, focusing on corporate real estate advisory in Africa, and served as Group CEO at LANDAFRIQUE, where efforts were concentrated on sustainable infrastructure and development within various sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa.

 
Additional leadership roles include CEO of Agbara Industrial Park, President of WestPark Ghana, board member positions at the Angolan Real Estate and Asset Management Associations, and experience in corporate real estate management at BP, Cushman & Wakefield and PRESILD, the Angolan governmental entity.

 
Paulo’s educational background includes degrees from Delft University of Technology and ISEG, complemented by specialised qualifications in real estate management and valuation.
