Advisory Board

Mr Shuaibu Idris is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Consolidated Hallmark Holdings Plc, appointed on 25th October 2023. He is also the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Time-Line Consult Limited, where he provides strategic direction, oversees daily operations, and leads marketing efforts for clients across West Africa and beyond.

Mr. Idris previously served as Deputy Managing Director of Dangote Flour Mills Plc from April 2009 to December 2010, where he was responsible for the overall management of the company, including oversight of Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Quality Control, and Corporate Affairs. Prior to this, he held various senior roles within the Dangote Group, including Special Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Group Treasurer, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, and Group General Manager for Human Resources and Administration. Earlier in his career, he was an investment and lending banker, rising to senior management and director levels in a Nigerian bank.

He has participated in several prestigious executive education programmes, including the Advanced Management Programme at both Lagos Business School and Harvard Business School, as well as the Advanced Leadership Programme at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK. He is also an alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, Nigeria.

Academically, Mr. Idris holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, Bangor, UK, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.

He is a Fellow of multiple professional bodies, including the Institute of Credit Administrators (FICA), the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA), the Chartered Institute of Marketing Nigeria (FNIMN), the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM), and the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD). He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM), the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and the National Institute.

Mr. Idris currently serves on the boards of several private and publicly quoted companies as an Independent Director. He is also a trustee of several non-governmental and business membership organisations.

Widely travelled across all continents, he is married with children. His personal interests include football, tennis, swimming, and engaging in political debates.
